Driftwood Brewery Men’s Bonspiel - Thank You & Congratulations!

The Driftwood Brewery Men’s Bonspiel has wrapped up for another year, and what a fantastic weekend it was!

A big thank-you to all participants, our generous sponsors, the ice crew, bartenders, and our caterer for helping make the bonspiel a great success.

This year’s Meat Toss winners took home a Dell Laptop, an LG Sound Bar, and of course, two hams! Weekend-long popcorn was proudly provided by Alec McBeath, and enjoyed by curlers and spectators alike.

We hope to see everyone back again next season--please spread the word and encourage your friends to join the fun!

Teams Wanted for Hollyspiel

Calling all ladies at ECC!  We need one more team! We are at 21 teams for the Hollyspiel (Nov 28-30), and it would be great to have one more team or even three more to make an even number. Our drawmaster would be very grateful! There's still time to register, so please consider putting a team together and join in the fun. The cost per team is $360, and this includes a turkey meal at the banquet on Saturday. Register online on the ECC website under "Events" and "Ladies Bonspiel".

Driftwood Men's Bonspiel Begins!

The Driftwood Brewery Men's Bonspiel kicks off today at the Esquimalt Curling Club and runs through Sunday. On behalf of the bonspiel committee, we’re pleased to welcome all curlers and spectators back for another great weekend of friendly competition and camaraderie.

The bonspiel features a 3 Event format with 26 teams competing for cash prizes, following the 2018 Curling Canada 4 Rock free guard zone rule.
